At Woven History and Silk Road, we take pride in offering exquisite handwoven rugs and products inspired by the rich history of the Silk Road. We understand that occasionally, a purchase may not meet your expectations, and we are here to make your return experience as convenient as possible. 1. Return Period:

Full Refund: You have 3 days from the date of purchase to request a return for a full refund.
Store Credit:
If you wish to return your item after the 3-day full refund window, you have up to 7 days from the date of purchase to receive store credit.


2. Eligibility for Returns:

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in its original condition, unused, and with all tags and packaging intact.
Custom orders and personalized items are not eligible for return or exchange unless they are damaged or defective upon arrival.


3. Initiating a Return:

To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team at wovenhi@erols.com or 202-543-1705 within the specified return period.
Provide your order number, the reason for the return, and any relevant photographs if the item is damaged or defective.


4. In-Person Returns:

Customers can also return items in person at our store located at:
311-315 7th Street SE, Washington, DC 20003.


5. Extended Return Period:

If you are unable to return the item within the specified time frames, please contact us by phone or email. We understand that circumstances may vary, and we are here to work with you to find a suitable solution.


6. Inspection and Approval:

Once your return request is received, our team will inspect the item to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria.
If the item is found to be in its original condition, we will process your return accordingly.


7. Refund and Store Credit Process:

Full Refund: If your return request is approved within the 3-day window, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
Store Credit: If your return request is approved within the 7-day window, you will receive store credit that can be used for future purchases at Woven History and Silk Road.


8. Return Shipping:

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, except in cases where the item received is damaged or defective.


9. Store Credit Expiry:

Store credit issued for returns is valid for one year from the date of issue.


10. Final Sale Items:

Some items may be marked as "Final Sale," and returns or exchanges will not be accepted for these items.
